FAQ’s

Some FAQ’s for everyday flowers in the mountains.

Q) What will I need to complete my order for flowers?

A) You will need the receiver’s name with correct spelling, phone number, and physical address. We can deliver to their work! We will just need to know what hours they’re working to plan our delivery route appropriately. You will also need to have a budget for flowers in mind; we recommend no less than a $35 arrangement for deliveries. If you’d like a card attached, have something in mind you’d like to say. Lastly, you will need to provide a payment method over the phone.

Q) I only have a PO Box address for the person I’m gifting to…

A) As long as you have the receivers phone number, we will reach out to them before we make the delivery to obtain their physical address. We always call ahead of time for deliveries anyway.

Q) Do you offer same day delivery or pickups?

A) Yes, we do! As long as the delivery isn’t too far away and one of our staff is available, it’s usually not a problem! However, the arrangement will be created with what we have on hand in the cooler. Due to the short time frame, we are unable to pickup specific flowers.

Q) Do you have to call the person I’m gifting to? I want it to be a surprise!

A) Getting flowers delivered to you is always a surprise! We do have to call everyone before we deliver for several reasons. We need someone home to receive them (further details in next question). A delivery address can be an hour away from us. Therefore, we want to make sure we have the correct address and get directions with additional markers if necessary. Sometimes Google maps puts us in the middle of nowhere (scary!), and some homes are not marked well or they’re buried in snow. It’s also courteous of us, and then they can inform us when the best time to deliver will be.

Q) Can you deliver when no one is home?

A) Unfortunately, we can’t deliver to someone who is not at home. Our weather up here can be pretty harsh and unpredictable. There can be freezing temperatures, blazing sun, thunderstorms, and strong winds. We can’t leave flowers outside on their porch, by the door or anywhere else unprotected from the elements. If left outside in any of those conditions, flowers can freeze, wilt, have a shorter lifespan, or be tipped over and the vase broken. Not to mention a wandering, hungry mule deer or moose deciding they look like a yummy snack!

Q) Why are your delivery fees so much?

A) It takes us a minimum of 45 minutes one direction to get to Winter Park if there’s no traffic or weather affecting the journey. If there are weather or traffic factors, our journey to Winter Park and back to the store could take 2+ hours. Kremmling is about 50 minutes away without any interference.

Q) What if my flowers are refused and the person they’re being gifted to doesn’t want them?

A) We do not offer refunds for products refused by the recipient. We ordered flowers, created a product, and attempted delivery. Simply put, we cannot control someones actions or what they choose to do with their flowers.

Q) What if I order flowers and the person whom I’m surprising isn’t in the county to receive them?

A) Before we deliver, we call the person they are going to. If they mention they will not be home or will be out of town, we hold the order until they return and are ready for them. They will usually give us a date on when they will return and are ready for their flowers. We can read the card to them so they can reach out to say thanks.

Some FAQ’s for weddings in the mountains.

Q) Do you provide tables, chairs, linens, glasses, etc.?

A) No we do not provide anything but flowers and the decor that works hand in hand with the flowers. We recommend getting in touch with Colorado Tent’s and Events or Benson Tent Rental out of Denver for those needs. There isn’t anyone locally that offers these items.

Q) Do you have arches or stumps to rent?

A) Yes we do!! We have a few arches and mulitple different height stumps to rent. Check out our rentals page or ask us!

Q) How far in advance do I need to book your services?

A) We recommend getting in contact with us no less than 6 months prior to the big day. Our summers book up fast and the sooner you have the opportunity to save the date, the quicker we can get to the fun part!

Q) Do you have event minimums?

A) For a package delivered and set up during our peak season (May-October) you will need to prepare to invest a minimum of $5,000 toward your floral package. *Please note: this is the average cost of a full wedding with Bridal, bridesmaids, boutonnieres, corsages, ceremony floral, reception floral.

A) We are phasing out our DIY bucket options in order to better serve our full service clients.

Q) I just realized I forgot flowers… for my wedding… OR My sister said she didn’t want flowers, and now she’s changed her mind.. and the wedding is tomorrow… (You may be laughing, but trust me… it happens more than you know!)

A) Whew… okay deep breath lovelies … It is not guaranteed, but we can usually create something for you. (Not all of our staff are capable of making bridal or wedding pieces.) However, it will be created with what we have on hand in the cooler & you must pickup the small package. Due to the short time frame, we are unable to pickup specific flowers. Please note the cost for your bouquet will be equal to the cost of a pre-planned wedding bouquet.
